Medical Botanist Myddfai Lara Julia Bernays Bsc Hons
I have training and experience in clinical herbal practice, laboratory based and ethno-botanical research, teaching, medicinal plant walks and talks, growing and harvesting herbs, etc. My aim through working in the community is to increase the awareness of the medicinal value of plants, unearthing and preserving the traditional herbal knowledge and pioneering the evolution of plants as medicine. I am currently working on projects exploring the traditional herbal knowledge still held in Wales, This is in association with the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, National Botanic Gardens of Wales and Antur Teifi.
