Some residents of Myddfai may remember me as Lloyd from Great House, Llangadog. I am researching my family history and I know that my maternal grandfather Morgan Jones who lived with his parents at Glansevin Mill worshipped at Sardis Chapel. To date I have been unable to trace any written records relating to Sardis or any photographs relating to it. I wonder if anybody in Myddfai has any idea where I may be able to find any. Follow the link on this website for a little more information about the location of Sardis. The site of Sardis is near Blaen-y-Cwm House, listed on the Ordnance Survey Map as Sardis. The ruin of the chapel can still be seen as you walk up the lane towards Blaen-y-Cwm House.
