Whilst researching my family tree I have found out that my family hails from Myddfai.

So far I can go back to John James born 1734 and Margaret Rees born 1739, prior to this I have details of a James Rhydderch who is shown as the "father" of John James his birth is around 1700.

Does the Church/Chapel hold any records for these periods or could somebody direct me to the relevant body that could provide me with this information
